For beginners

Much of humanity has evolved by constant introspection and questioning and therefore it would be quite appropriate to start with interrogatives or question forms in English. The basic question forms being What, Where, When, Why, How?

The answers respectively would be This/That, Here/There, Now/today/tomorrow.., because.

For those of my readers in intermediate levels and advanced levels of English

I have always had a fascination for the language and I have been constantly trying to better myself in the aspects of reading and writing English. One important exercise is ‘That scrambled word game’ which I feel offers best of many worlds for anyone that would like to improve his analytical and English skills.

The game consists of 4 jumbled words, which has to be set right. The letters that fall in certain encircled areas of the word have to be separated and taken out, which has to be rearranged to form a meaningful statement in relation to a cartoon/statement given beside. I have found this exercise to be immensely satisfying in terms of enhancement of my analytical skills and English vocabulary improvement. Not a day passes for me without successfully unscrambling the jumble; and I hardly fail in solving the puzzle. Such exercises refresh me analytically and many a time, I have come across new words when I have solved the game.
